Fluid Retention

Polyporus umbellatus and Poria cocos are traditionally used in the treatment of fluid retention with P. umbellatus considered stronger. Multiple diuretic components have been isolated from P. umbellatus1,2.

CLINICAL NOTE
Traditional dose of P. umbellatus is 6-15g/day dried herb.
